You can quickly set any image you like as your login screen background on Windows 10.

This was little confused in the first release of Windows 10, but Microsoft did it very simple for the user with the New Anniversary Update.

Here are some steps that you have to follow.

Step 1:
Go to “Settings” where you can find “Personalization” click on it.

Step 2:
Then you can see Lock screen and enable the “Show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen” option here.

Step 3:
If you need to replace the background of your sign in screen then you can reset it with any background which you like. you can find there the Windows Spotlight option, that provides you with all the magnificent background pictures from several wonderful places in the universe.

You can also select Picture or Slideshow if you want your own family photos or pictures that you simply want to cherish each day by using it as your background on your Windows 10.

Do note that the image that you select here will appear as both your lock screen background and your sign in the background.

How to change flat color instead of a background image?

If you want to change just background color instead of background color, then here is simple 3 step that you have to follow.

Step 1:
Move forward and disable the “Show lock screen background picture” on the sign in screen of your window.

Step 2:
Once you have done that, you can go to the Settings widget, after that go to the Personalization, so you can see the Color setting.

Step 3:
Here you can see the list of color, you can select any color whichever you want to see on your window sign in screen.
